The Mission
The mission of First Church Artesia is the same mission Jesus gave his followers in Matthew 28: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. (Matt 28:19-20). Doing so in light of Christ's authority and His promise: And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me (Matt 28:18), And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age (Matt 28:20).
The Vision
The vision of First Church Artesia is to create a community of authentic believers who embody the principles of the very first church:
Dedication to the teaching of the Apostles, the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayers (Acts 2:42).
We want to see a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, grow in their knowledge of him, and actively live out that faith.
We sum this vision up in a simple phrase:
All of Christ, for All of Life, for all of Artesia
